Artist's Note: This image of a woman on the horse means many things to me and it was the last piece I made for this exhibit. I was laden with feelings about the show; the year was ending and I wanted to try to reach beneath the layers of existence—to transcend commodity, to create a work that looks back, looks into the viewer's soul and comes alive.
